PROFILE PRODUCT TERMS

These Profile Product Terms (“Profile Terms”) govern use of the Profile product available through the Grand platform (“Profile”).
These Profile Terms supplement the Platform Terms & Conditions (“Platform Terms”). Capitalised terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Platform Terms.
By enabling or using Profile, you agree to these Profile Terms.
1. PURPOSE AND NATURE OF PROFILE
Profile is a business intelligence and monitoring product that enables Customers to discover, view, analyse, and monitor entities using a combination of third-party data, publicly available information, customer-contributed data, and Grand-generated analytical signals.
Profile is designed to support Customer understanding of entities and their evolving characteristics. Profile does not:
- define truth or provide authoritative records
- make decisions on behalf of Customers
- provide advice, approvals, or determinations
- replace professional judgement or regulatory compliance processes
2. PROFILES AS ANALYTICAL CONSTRUCTS
A Profile represents an analytical construct generated and maintained by Grand. Profiles:
- aggregate and augment information from multiple sources
- update dynamically over time
- maintain historical, point-in-time states
- may be viewed simultaneously by multiple Customers
Profile outputs may differ between Customers based on customer context, customer-contributed data, enabled features, interaction history, and AI-assisted analysis tailored to the Customer.
Profiles are not static records and should not be treated as authoritative representations of any entity.
3. ENTITY MATCHING AND CONFIRMATION
Grand may present one or more potential entity matches when a Customer searches for or selects a Profile.
You acknowledge and agree that:
- entity names may be similar or ambiguous
- automated matching may be imperfect
- you are responsible for confirming that a selected Profile relates to the correct entity
Proceeding with a Profile constitutes confirmation by you that the Profile corresponds to the intended entity.
Grand bears no responsibility for consequences arising from selection or use of an incorrect Profile.
4. DATA SOURCES AND COMPLETENESS
Profile draws on a combination of:
- third-party data sources
- public and registered data
- customer-contributed information
- proprietary Grand-generated analytical signals
All Profile outputs are provided on a best-efforts and as-available basis.
Coverage may be limited, incomplete, delayed, or unavailable for certain jurisdictions, entity types (including, without limitation, large enterprises, NGOs, charities, cooperatives, or similar organisations), or data categories.
Grand does not guarantee completeness, timeliness, or accuracy of any Profile output.
4.1 Third-Party Data Restrictions
Certain data incorporated into Profile may be sourced from third-party providers whose licensing terms impose restrictions on downstream use. Where such restrictions apply, they are reflected in the usage limitations set out in these Profile Terms and in any in-app disclosures.
You must not use Profile outputs in a manner that would cause Grand to breach its upstream data licensing obligations. Grand may restrict or modify access to specific data categories to maintain compliance with third-party data provider terms.
4.2 Third-Party Data Notices
Specific third-party data provider attributions, disclaimers, and usage restrictions are set out in the Third-Party Data Notices, available at heygrand.com/legal/data-notices, which are incorporated into these Profile Terms by reference and may be updated from time to time.
Your use of Profile outputs that incorporate third-party data is subject to the applicable Third-Party Data Notices. Grand will use reasonable efforts to provide notice of material changes to the Third-Party Data Notices.
5. COMPLIANCE-RELATED SIGNALS
IMPORTANT: READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY
Profile may surface information or analysis relating to:
- integrity indicators
- sanctions, politically exposed person (PEP), or adverse media signals
- compliance-related risk patterns
Profile is an information source only. Profile:
- does not constitute anti-money laundering (AML), know-your-customer (KYC), or know-your-business (KYB) compliance
- is not sufficient on its own to meet regulatory obligations
- does not replace required compliance controls, procedures, or human review
- does not constitute a regulated compliance service
Regulatory obligations remain solely with you. You are responsible for determining whether and how Profile outputs may be used within your compliance framework and for ensuring that your use of Profile complies with all applicable laws and regulations.
6. ANALYTICAL SIGNALS, RISK, AND PREDICTIVE OUTPUTS
Profile may present analytical outputs relating to:
- risk of failure
- credit capacity
- network characteristics
- momentum, growth, or decline
Such outputs may include bands or qualitative labels, confidence levels, narratives, explanations, contextual analysis, and forward-looking or predictive elements.
These outputs:
- are analytical opinions, not facts
- may change automatically over time without notice
- may be incorrect, incomplete, or misleading
You are responsible for determining how and whether to rely on any Profile output.
7. AI-ASSISTED INSIGHTS
Profile includes AI-assisted functionality that may:
- generate insights, explanations, or opinions
- surface prompts or suggested actions
- summarise or contextualise information
AI-assisted outputs are:
- probabilistic
- non-authoritative
- non-factual
- non-advisory
Grand does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-assisted outputs within Profile.
8. FUTURE FUNCTIONALITY
Grand may introduce additional features, capabilities, or modes of operation within Profile from time to time, including but not limited to automated agent functionality, enhanced workflow capabilities, or integration with external systems.
Where new features involve materially different functionality, risk profiles, or customer responsibilities, Grand will:
- update these Profile Terms or issue supplementary terms before such features become available
- require your affirmative acceptance of updated or supplementary terms before you may use such features
- provide reasonable notice of material changes
You will not be bound by terms for features you have not enabled or accepted.
9. CLAIMED PROFILES
9.1 Claiming a Profile
Entities may claim their Profile by verifying ownership through Grand’s verification process.
Where a Profile is claimed, Grand may allow limited updates to specific information fields. Analytical signals and system-generated insights remain under the control of Grand.
9.2 Profile Visibility and Activity Disclosure
IMPORTANT: READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY
Where an entity has claimed its Profile, certain information about Customers who view or interact with that Profile may be disclosed to the claiming entity. This may include:
- the Customer’s organisation name
- the date of interaction
- the frequency of interactions
By default, this activity information is attributed (meaning the claiming entity can see which organisation interacted with their Profile).
9.3 Anonymous Viewing
Customers may access anonymous viewing, which removes attribution of their activity from claimed Profiles. Anonymous viewing may be available through specific subscription tiers or plans, as described in the Platform or at the time of purchase.
9.4 Compliance Activity Protection
Notwithstanding Section 9.2, where a Customer’s interaction with a Profile involves compliance-related signals (including sanctions screening, PEP checks, adverse media review, or integrity-related analysis as described in Section 5), such activity is automatically anonymised and will not be disclosed to the claiming entity in attributed form.
This protection applies regardless of the Customer’s subscription tier and is designed to protect the integrity of compliance processes and to mitigate the risk of tipping off under applicable anti-money laundering legislation.
Grand implements technical measures to identify and classify compliance-related activity for the purposes of this section. Grand does not guarantee that all compliance-related activity will be correctly classified in all cases.
10. NETWORK EFFECTS AND CUSTOMER CONTRIBUTIONS
Profile may incorporate signals derived from:
- aggregated network activity
- anonymised or contextualised Customer interactions
- customer-contributed relationship data
Customer-contributed data may influence Profile analysis, network indicators, and how AI supports other Customers.
Grand does not guarantee how or whether customer-contributed data will affect Profile outputs.
11. SOURCE DATA CORRECTIONS AND DISPUTES
Profile may reflect information obtained from official registries or external data sources. Grand does not alter official records.
Requests to correct underlying data must be directed to the relevant registry, authority, or data provider. Profile will reflect updated information when those sources change.
You may raise disputes or correction requests relating to Profile outputs via customer support. Grand may, at its discretion:
- review disputes
- annotate Profiles
- correct data
- decline or defer changes
Certain correction or suppression features may require the entity to claim the Profile and verify ownership.
Grand is not obligated to update historical Profile outputs.
12. PERMITTED USE AND RESTRICTIONS
You may use Profile outputs internally for business decision-making.
You may export or copy Profile outputs for internal business use.
You must not:
- resell or sublicence Profile outputs
- redistribute Profile data commercially
- white-label or re-brand Profile outputs
- present Profile outputs as your own original work
- embed Profile outputs into customer-facing products or services without Grand’s prior written consent
- remove attribution to Grand from Profile outputs where attribution is included
Future embedding or distribution rights, if offered, will be governed by separate terms.
13. POST-TERMINATION DATA HANDLING
Upon termination of your use of Profile:
- you must cease using Profile outputs for commercial purposes
- you must not present Profile outputs as current or valid after termination
Nothing in this section prevents you from retaining Profile outputs where required by law, regulation, or internal record-retention policies, provided such retention is for archival or compliance purposes only and not for active commercial use.
14. BILLING AND ACCESS
Profile may be accessed via subscriptions, credits, or a combination of both.
Billing, pricing, and usage mechanics are governed by the Platform Terms and in-app disclosures.
15. MONITORING
Profile may allow Customers to monitor entities for changes over time. Monitoring:
- may only be available under certain subscription tiers
- may be subject to limits on the number of monitored entities
- may generate alerts or notifications
Monitoring ends when the relevant subscription terminates.
16. SUSPENSION, MODIFICATION, AND WITHDRAWAL
Grand may suspend, modify, or withdraw Profile, in whole or in part, at any time, including where:
- misuse is detected
- regulatory or reputational risk arises
- systemic abuse is suspected
- third-party data provider terms require modification or withdrawal of specific data or features
Where practicable, Grand will provide reasonable notice of material modifications or withdrawals.
17. DISCLAIMERS AND LIABILITY
Profile is provided “as is” and “as available.”
Grand disclaims all warranties relating to Profile, including accuracy, completeness, fitness for purpose, or regulatory sufficiency.
Without limiting the generality of the disclaimers in the Platform Terms, Grand specifically disclaims any warranty or representation that:
- Profile outputs are sufficient to meet your regulatory, compliance, or legal obligations
- Profile outputs are accurate representations of any entity’s financial position, creditworthiness, or risk profile
- Profile data is complete for any particular jurisdiction, entity type, or data category
Liability is subject to the limitations set out in the Platform Terms.
18. PRECEDENCE
If there is a conflict between these Profile Terms and the Platform Terms:
- these Profile Terms prevail only in relation to Profile
- the Platform Terms govern all other aspects of Platform use
19. GOVERNING LAW
These Profile Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland.
